I had a 1988 brown Ford Thunderbird, which is hands-down the best car I ever owned. I bought it off my brother-in-law for $350, and since it was brown my family nicknamed it the "thunderturd". It had the Mustang 5.0 in it, and it was quite quick. I bought it at the height of the rice rocket craze. I used to love it when I would sit at a light and see a teenager in his Honda - with only a paint job, racing rims, and maybe an intake - laugh at me, and I would blow his doors off once the light turned green.
In 2003, my wife (now my ex-wife yippee!!!) and I bought a Dodge Dakota, and she made me trade it in for $100, only to have the dealer donate it to the rescue squad so they could tear it up with the jaws of life :( My brother-in-law and I wanted to keep it so we could fix it up and make it a show car.
