Help with ac problem on a 2001 Impala

Water is leaking on the floor board on passenger side. How can I stop this problem DIY? Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi rnr,

There are usually only 2 common causes of water on the floor board.
1) A/C drain tube is plugged
2) Heater core is leaking.
Use a cooling system pressure tester to pump up the cooling system. The heater core will start to leak once the system is pressurized. Locate the drain tube coming out of the fire wall and use a small wire to push carefully in the hose. If it's blocked, water will come out.
