We are experimenting on converting water into hydrogen using the Water4Gas system, but the Honda CR-V 2005 won't accept the change. We are told that the computer needs to be modified so it does not think that it should still run on fuel alone. Does anyone know how to get to the computer to do the modification.

I have been trying to get a manual but I have had no luck. We went to local NAPA store today and they told us that manuals for that year and type are not out yet, that the vehicle is still too new.

The good news: Our CR-V book is currently in the process of being updated.
The bad news: It won't help you with what you're trying to do.

Maybe a good import tuner can reprogram the computer's map to achieve the results you want, but it sounds like it might be a process of trial and error. What you're attempting to do is quite a major modification; hopefully you can get in touch with someone who has experience installing one of these conversions on a late-model Honda.

When you do get it sorted out, please let us know how it works. It's a very interesting concept!
