the car in question is a 2002 sable and heres the deal the shift control will move but the transmission will not engage any help

louiscj - Check the fluid level and the condition of the fluid if its burnt then you most likely have a internal transmission problem. Make sure the linkage moves and is actually attached to the trans. We would advise taking it to a transmission repair shop to get it fixed.
