1991 Civic DX 1.5/L4

Replacing L4 transmission. Haynes manuel insists that you mark the converter & re-install exactly the same(bolt patern). But bolt holes are all typical & there are no disernable markings that I can find that would allow me to "transfer" the mark I made on the old one.

Question is: Does it matter?::confused:

Hi apedersen: The mark is made to prevent a possible problem from occuring when you reinstall the original parts. If you are putting on new or different parts, then the marking is not needed.
